I was advised that my back tyres both needed changing and took my car to Car Tech. Stuart had a look, said they were within the legal limit and saved me a lot of money.I straight away booked in for my mot which was almost due. Instead of dropping off my car early morning and collecting in the evening as happened at a different garage, I was given a book – in time of 11.30 and told it would be ready 50 minutes later which it was.I highly recommend Car Tech and the lovely people I met there! Cannot recommend Car Tech highly enough. My son had a bad experience with another local garage who really left in him in the lurch. Called Car Tech in desperation and they could not have been more helpful, going out of their way to help. I went here today for a cambelt and water pump on my Astra 1.9 cdti. The customer service was fantastic everyone was so polite. The prices are the best I’ve found the work was carried out perfectly.Because I traveled from Bedford I was given a loan car. Not many places do this anymore. Needed an urgent tyre change, and they were able to fit me in that day, change the spare wheel despite me not having the lock nut key, and replace the other locknuts so I didn’t have the same problem in the future. I was quoted an absurd amount for 4 new tyres and to fix the brake fluid leak.Later on that day, I went in to Car Tech which was a refreshing experience for me. I felt very accommodated by Simone who was happy to listen and advise as I was very concerned about my car. She also checked my tyres whilst I was there and generated a quote for me before the work was booked in.I booked my car in and was happy the entire repair cost was SO MUCH less than the quote I received elsewhere and 1 tyre to replace – not 4! My car had some electrical gremlins, I took the chance and just turned up on the off chance that they might be able to look at it.I left the car with them and they ran a diagnostic check for me and the problem had disappeared.The next morning the problem came back so I called them and I took the car straight inStuart came out and ran through the various issues with me, straight and to the point no BS.Brilliant service very refreshing attitude. The staff at CAR TECH are probably the nicest people in the industry.They where recommended to me by my work colleagues as they have been Cartech customers both personally and through the business.I have had many issues with my car since using my local garage in Toddington, bad workmanship big bills and just general lack of interest.Even to the point they turned away work because it would take too long.On just about every occasion I had any work done I had to go back the next day for some corrective work.All this came to a head last year when I had some work done on my car and the undertray fell off on the way home !The garage hadn’t secured the tray on and had actually lost the fixings, I took the car back and they zipped tied it back on !Annual MOT’s always showed up advisories that didn’t exist when independently checked.I vowed never to go back.Then I was introduced to CAR TECH in Leighton Buzzard…..What a breath of fresh air…My brakes had failed due to a corroded pipe which on my series of vehicles is a common issue and usually writes the car off due to age (2009 plate)The guys worked tirelessly to fix the problem and renewed all the offending sections of brake pipe (a 10hr+ Job).Even after the manufacturer supplying the wrong parts on the first delivery they soldiered on until replacements arrived.My Car also needed an MOT which after all their hard work passed without any advisories, a very thorough service all round.I’d just like to say a BIG thankyou to all of the Team for their thoroughly professional and courteous service.You’ve done yourselves proud and my Old CLK is like a new car again. Thankyou so so much :)Oh and the price…….. Stuart and the team are genuine good guys. Always friendly and will do a great job.Stu is very straight talking with regards to what you really do and don’t need. E.g.. had an MOT on the family touran, he said that the front brakes are low…. not low enough to change right now but in a few months maybe depending the mileage, which i told him was low.Highly recommend.
Highly recommend Car Tech! Dropped by earlier and Stuart quickly diagnosed what the issue was. He advised against having a part replaced due to the complex nature of the job and cost! Advised it would have no affect on the performance of the car and would be reluctant to take money off me for something that isn’t urgent! Cant fault the service at all and will certainly be using them in the future.

I called on the off-chance relatively early in the morning as my car had warning lights come on on the dashboard showing an issue with emissions. They were fantastic! Managed to fit the car in and problem solved all by lunchtime. Was surprised at how cheap the bill was and they gave me great advice too. I’d have no issues in recommending them to anyone. Dropped off my wife’s car this morning for an MOT and service, popped the keys through the door on the way to work. By lunchtime it was all ready for collection. Great group of lads, kept me very well informed. Rang me an hour before it was ready to collect to update me on the progress and again once it was all sorted.
